Show Up! Southend are delighted to bring you WINTER IN ROCHFORD, a season of creative events.
Join in with craft workshops, browse art fayres and enjoy incredible live performances. All in the district of Rochford.
This season is only possible because of a grant from Rochford District Council UKSPF Fund.
GIVE IT A GO – CRAFT
Want to start the New Year creating something new?! Then head down to our Give It A Go evenings where you’ll get to try a load of different crafts! All overseen by our experts who will give demonstrations as well as advice and top tips! Each week will five feature different techniques – including mosaics, screen printing, working with resin, lino carving and so much more!

LITTLE RED PANTO
Love panto but screaming kids aren’t your vibe?!… Then join us for our well loved GROWN UP ONLY performance
At this show we will have made the following amendments to the show;
- Over 18s only! So no screaming kids!
- There will be some drink along moments in the show, plus special £5 cocktails will be available
- A few more cruder jokes will be thrown in
- Audiences will be given a sheet of instructions which are unknown by the cast – have fun joining in and adding a touch of mayhem to the show!
Little Red loves nothing more than being in the magical forest. Visiting her grandma is the last thing she wants to do when there’s adventures to have! But when she finds out that the nasty Wolf has plans to tear down the oldest tree in the forest she will need to team up with grandma and her mates to save the day. Small but mighty Little Red hatches a plan but she needs you! Can you help Little Red, Grandma and the handsome Uncle stop the evil Wolf from destroying the magical forest?!
Our cast of seven will bedazzle you with incredible vocals, and with ingenious set pieces and brand new comedy routines – this is a panto you’ll remember for years to come!

We’re back with another Wonky Art Fayre!
After our last successful event, the Wonky Art Fayre is back with another creative market, offering a wide range of arts and crafts. This is a free event where you can buy discounted art from a wide range of local artists. We will have sticker items you can mix and match as you like across the market.
