As you can see there are lots of places to experience arts and entertainment. BUT the majority of these spaces are ‘around’ Southend and the larger organisations focus on bringing talent in from outside the county, which is so great and we do love and support that! 

BUT what Southend really needs is a hub where artists can create work in a supportive, tailor-made environment, where Southend theatre makers can see their work on a Southend stage, where artists can regularly display their work, where bands can play rehearse and perform, where creatives can come together to show off all the talent Southend has to offer

Somewhere central to Southend, somewhere iconic that used to be a performance space, somewhere that is crying out to be filled with life again…… if only there was somewhere like that…….
