The Camping Farce at Stambridge Memorial Hall
Saturday 21st September, 7pm – 8.30pm, Stambridge Memorial Hall, SS4 2AR
A campsite in Rochford. Two friends with two very different plans for their weekend away. Along with mistaken identities, a hunt for a rare bird, and the desperate pursuit of love… watch this peaceful weekend turn into comic chaos.
This fast paced play, featuring 3 actors playing 10 characters, dozens of costume changes and split second timing – is quite possibly the best comedy to come out of Rochford.
SHOW UP is bringing theatre to Stambridge!! With a maximum capacity of 80 people our show will be a intimate experience.
You’ll be greeted at the door and we’ll check your name off the guest list, no need to print your tickets but feel free to have them ready on your phone. Feel free to grab a drink and a snack from the refreshment table.
The show will run for approximately 1.5 hours without an interval. The whole venue is on one level with toilets around the building.
This play will also be performed on different dates and times at other venues around the District of Rochford:
Sunday 22nd September at Canewdon Village Hall
Friday 27th September at Rawreth Village Hall

This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund via Rochford District Council. All events will have a certain amount of tickets that are Pay What You Can. If you can afford to pay full price please leave this option available for other members of our community who can’t. Pay What You Can tickets will be released in August. Please also get in touch if there is a way we can make our production more accessible for you and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
We believe in sharing the real value of creative events. Without funding to run this event covering all costs, a ticket would cost between £30 – 35.
