Improv Playtime Short Course

Fresh off the plane from Munich representing England in the Impro European Masters Championships and directing the London 50 Hour Improvathon, Ali James offers improv playtime in Southend.

Come along for a nutritious four day improv intensive!

What’s on the menu?

Appetizer: Short form performance skill strengthening

Entree: Scene work – focus on connection & manifestation

Dessert: A tasty dip into a trio of narrative forms including Chain of Fools, Armando & Free Form Story

Paired with fun, warmth and individual focus points throughout. Oooh delicious!

There will be a showcase performance (free entry) at 7pm on Sunday 28th.

To take this course you’ll need basic training in improvisation (eg at least one completed course with The Laughter academy or equivalent) or some theatrical experience.

Refunds : These courses operate with tight margins, and Ali will only normally be able to offer a refund if someone else is able to take the place. Ali often has waiting lists for courses, so if you find yourself unable to do a course you have booked, please get in touch as soon as possible.
