This Summer the world comes to Rayleigh in this special Global Village event with live music, storytelling, food and dance.
Enjoy performances by Folk Dance Remixed and live music from the Southend Irish Association Musicians. Sit back and enjoy the chilled out musical delights from The Marley Experience, playing Bob Marley hits for you to sing and dance along to. Take part in Tai Chi and try your hand at origami with Lu Yu. Be transported to far off places with African storyteller Usifu Jalloh. Throw some shapes with Jaymini’s Bollywood Dance. Get moving with the percussive rhythms and Capoeira of BrazilArte.
There will also be food stalls, a licensed bar, arts and crafts activities, and Henna hand painting with Jity Bajaj – something for everyone!
Free, drop-in and open to all.
Families welcome.
